For marketers like me, David Ogilvy is a timeless source of knowledge and inspiration. Even twenty years after his passing, the "father of advertising" continues to shape my thinking and practices, empowering me to create better work.

Creativity that doesn't lead to sales is pointless. When I create an advert, I don't want to hear that you think it's creative. I want you to find it so compelling that your consumers buy the product.
In today's business world, being a creative, original thinker means little if you can't sell what you produce. I will not be clever—I will create imbalance, persuade your consumers, and turn them into loyal customers.
I am a dedicated researcher and a highly imaginative thinker, I don't value creativity for its own sake. I want to be judged by the results I will deliver. I will keep it engaging and not tedious. I can't make someone buy the product by boring them. The key is to capture their attention and spark curiosity.
